Dr Fernando served as a member of the best paper award committee at the Sri Lanka Association for Artificial Intelligence (SLAAI) international conference on Artificial Intelligence (SLAAI-ICAI-2018) which was held at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka on Decmeber 20, 2018.
